Just watching it's pretty obvious that Smith is not right... and the Flames have no pushback without Tkachuk, he's def. Flames mvp... seems to me that they miss him more than any other player.

I am almost certain that Andersson will be on the team full time next year.
Valimaki will have a shot, as will Fox if they can get him signed.
Up front there probably isn't as many potential guys who can jump. I would say Mangiapane is the most likely to stick full time, and Dube as a bit of a longshot.
There isn't a lot they can do with the players before next season so I'm guessing Gully is going to pay the price. If I was BT, i'd go with a hard ass coach to come in and yell a bit and maybe hurt a few guy's feeling. Maybe Hitchcock will be available. This team has turned into the same country club culture from a few years ago.

Glughead needs to go. We have a bunch of millennials on this team that play when they feel like it and the problem with that is ive seen enough of Glughead in practices to see he can be firm but he definitely lacks in fairness and consistency.
Bennett gets ridden hard like a 3rd rate porn star by Glughead for the same mistakes Johhny G makes nightly. The Flames need a real leader as a coach, this team is complex and we need a coach who can lead and be respected. A Coach that has won a cup, dealt with star personalities ect ect. When the road got tough this season, Glughead would go from flat, zero personality to dismissive and condescending about his team. Glughead failed to build a confident, resilient team. This version of the Flames was the most fragile ive seen in decades. Unfortunately, that is a direct reflection of the coach. No way this guy can coach this team for another season. Hit the high road Glen and be thankful i dont own the flames because i would be getting a jump on the coaching market by firing your ass right before last nights post game conference.

I agree, he continues to make ridiculous line up calls that weigh down the team. Brouwer on 2nd line is ridiculous just cause hes seen as a veteran voice.
Hathaway is absolute garbage and should not be in the line up, how many points does he have in the last 40 games, maybe 5?
shore and lazar continue to be out of the line up but offer more speed and skill.

Well we know we are watching the same games bro. Lazar plays with intensity and heart and is a solid 4th liner with potential. The rest of the fodder he has to play with...garbage. Ferland appears to be neutered under Glughead. Hathaway is total garbage and he is supposed to be a "presence" on the ice....well he was on the ice When Reaves punished Brodie and Lazar was the first one there while Hathaway waited for the refs then pulled a janikowski. P.S If im the coach of that team, i tell Janikowski to shut his yap if he cant defend himself. Last thing you want is to be another joe Colborne or Kent Manderville. If GG would have put hamilton on the PP right away he would be over 20 goals for sure. Hamilton gets no recognition from the league cause he used to badly. This was one of the most frustrating years to watch this team.
I think it is time to call up some of the guys from the AHL team and sit some of the veterans. I would like to see Smith sidelined for the rest of the season and see Gillies and Rittich between the pipes for the rest of the season.
